cases are very thick. double the thickness of 2 single blue ray cases. Center section is made from a hard rigid plastic. It is difficult to remove the disk. I am concerned I will damage the disk if I do not carefully apply pressure. front and back are of a more flexible plastic and this is not an issue. As mentioned by another reviewer these cases will work if you are purchasing blue rays and wish to store your original dvd copy with the new blue ray format. The case will actually hold up to 8 disks if you combine a center section from an extra case. They are not the quality of the cases that come with your movies from retailers. For my own needs (home theater dvd storage) I would not purchase these bulky cases again. There are much smaller cases on the market that will hold an equal number of disks. For commercial use or storage of family video disks these would be ideal and very economical. You could even create your own cover jacket.

Only Wish I had found them earlier. As I purchase Movies on Blue-ray If I already own the DVD version, these cases and the 6 disk cases are great for combining the two versions in one container. saves shelf space as well.
