quality and utility By Paul Berger from WA on 09/17/2019 Comments about SLIM Clear Single DVD Cases 9MM: Though this review is for the listed product, I will also cover the clear Dual 9MM cases (which I prefer) I have excellent experience with the clear 9MM DVD cases. Only minimal trimming the ends of the original cover art is required, without cutting off some of the text on the back cover. Further, over 90% of the time the original spine label can be used as is. The clear cases afford reading of any text/graphics on the reverse side of the original cover art. The Dual cases offer even more flexibility especially when combining 2 discs for DVDs with sequels. The case is just thick enough to accommodate original cover art in the sleeve from 2 separate cases. Other than the extra space savings with the 7 & 5MM cases, they do not offer the aforementioned advantages of the 9MM cases. These extra slim cases require excess cover art trimming (removing part of the back cover text), special extra small spine notes. Any DVDs that come in CD-size cases (or are included as bonus discs with CD-audio packages) I then transfer to their own case for easier reference. The 9mm is wide enough to have readable titles yet slimmer than standard cases, creating more shelf space. They snap very securely and wont open unless you actually open them. Center hub holds very well. Tight inside clips are there if needed. Outside plastic sleeve is sturdy.
